This unit is region-free (region 0), but can also be set to limit playing DVDs from any one particular region:

• Open the DVD tray.
• Enter the following sequence on the remote control: 7 8 9 OK 0 (that is: seven eight nine ok zero)
• The screen displays the default region and the new region.
• Note: the 5th entry in the above sequence (zero) defines the region. Zero (regionless/worldwide), one (Canada, US), two (Europe), ...
