Adaptec ASH-1233 PCI Ultra ATA Adapter

The Adaptec Ultra ATA Card 1233 is an affordable 2-port PCI card that offers reliable storage connectivity for desktop PCs and workstations delivering Ultra ATA data transfer rates of up to 133 MByte/sec. This 32-bit, 33/66 MHz PCI host controller provides dual, fully compliant device-side Ultra ATA-133 channels to access Ultra ATA storage devices such as hard disk drives, CD-ROMs, CD-RWs, and DVD-ROMs.

Previously used in a Dell Precision workstation, running Solaris, to expand the number of ATA ports. The adapter provides 4 additional ports, two for each physical connector on the card.
